It was great news for the salon sector when the Government announced that they are increasing the Local Enterprise grant to 90% subject to a maximum drawdown of €2,500.

We have had confirmation that this grant will cover the following and can be for a new or upgrades to existing digital products:

• Salon Websites
• Salon Software
• Digital Screens

This is as a response to the hardship that many small businesses are going through and to help them to sell their products and services online.

Obviously, as this is in response to the Covid-19 emergency, it is believed that this increased grant may only be available for 8 weeks,  so we would advise you to apply for the grant as soon as possible and to take advantage of the assistance there for you.
